Terrell Owens explains that had he’d been voted first-ballot Hall of Fame, he would’ve had his ceremony with the rest of the class, per TMZ Sports.
That makes sense, there’s no reason he shouldn’t be a first-ballot Hall of Famer but things didn’t go his way and he’s at peace with it. TMZ ran into T.O. Century City Mall where he explains how felt about not being inducted sooner.
Owens said,
“In terms of the criteria, the bylaws and what it takes for a guy to get in — when it came to me, other things came into play, and for me, that doesn’t bode well for me. I’m not worried about what everybody else says, bro.”
That’s the attitude he should have, he knows what he did for the game and how he changed it for the better with his style of play. Owens was skipped out on for multiple reasons but none of them affected his game come Sunday, flip the page for the video.
