Antonio Brown isn’t giving up his desire to wear his old helmet model just yet.
After losing his appeal to wear his old helmet yesterday, there was a specific loophole opened for Brown. A loophole that allowed him to wear his old helmet.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Brown would be able to wear his preferred helmet if he can find a model of it that was made from 2010 or after.
Why 2010 or after? Because helmets made from 2010 and onward mostly meet up to the safety standards the NFL has placed on different models of helmets.
To combat head injuries and prevent head troubles after a player is done with their career.
Antonio Brown got word of that though, and he’s exchanging something pretttty valuable in exchange for a newer model of his preferred helmet.
