What a difference a few months makes.
During the summer, Teddy Bridgwater agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million deal with the New Orleans Saints. Making him the highest paid backup quarterback in the league.
For the Saints, Bridgewater has been worth every dime. In the absence of future Hall of Famer Drew Brees, the former Louisville standout led them to a 5-0 record.
During that span, Bridgewater threw for 1,370 yards to go along with nine touchdowns and only two picks. For his efforts, Bridgewater is expected to receive a big payday in the spring.
