Colin Kaepernick’s private workout that seems to have been hastily thrown together by the NFL has had a new development everyday about what it will entail and what teams will observe it in person.
One detail that has not yet been ironed out is who will be Kaepernick’s receivers for the workout. Former NFL All-Pro and current free agent Antonio Brown is throwing his hat in the bucket.
Brown tweeted Kaepernick on Thursday with the caption, “No Kap you need a catcher in the A Saturday @Kaepernick7 #BabiesGottoEat.”
Brown tweeted this along with a photoshopped picture of Kaepernick and Brown as children playing with toys and the caption “Wanna Play Catch?”
It’s unclear if Brown will show up or even be allowed to participate in the workout, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt for Kaepernick to throw to one of the best receivers of the past decade.
