Nick Young responded in the most Swaggy P manner imaginable to his former teammate Gilbert Arenas‘ imprisonment. In an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, July 30, Young mockingly proposed that his sports program, Gil’s Arena, be temporarily renamed Swaggy’s Arena after calling Arenas a “stupid motherdf*cker.”
According to Young’s five-minute video response, “We might as well just change the show to Swaggy’s Arena in conjunction with Gilbert. We’re gonna put a little Gilbert sign on the side,”
“It’s still Swaggy’s arena until you come back home. And once you get out, it’s back to you. But for now, I got it.”
“I never thought I’d see the day, my brother,” “Hey man, wouldn’t be the first time I lost one of my friends to the seal. Just keep him in there cause he’s been a fucked up friend ever since I met him. Just might as well just keep him.”
“Whatever he said, whatever y’all think he did, for more than likely, you know, just keep him in there, you know, he don’t need to come back out. He don’t need to see the light of day no more. I’m tired of this motherfucker.”
Arenas was taken into custody in Southern California on Wednesday, July 30, on suspicion of running an illicit gambling operation out of his estate in Encino.
According to US prosecutors, Arenas and five other individuals organized high-stakes poker games between September 2021 and July 2022, bringing in upscale gamblers with chefs, security, valets, and waiters.
