One small problem…….
Mayweather is in jail, so there is no way he can fight Manny Pacquiao on November 10th. There is another bigger problem, but first here is what Bob Arum has to say.
Manny Pacquiao reiterated his desire to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., but who his next opponent will be is still a mystery, his promoter Bob Arum told Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole in an exclusive interview.
Arum and Pacquiao met over dinner Monday (Tuesday, PHL time), along with three other men, one of whom was the Filipino congressman’s adviser, Michael Koncz, with Arum outlining the positives and negatives of potential bouts with Timothy Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto and Mayweather. But if Pacquiao was leaning one way or another, he didn’t make it known.
“He kept a true poker face,” said Arum of the Filipino ring icon. “I explained to him everything that is going on and what we thought, but he didn’t give anything away. He just listened and took it all in.
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will never happen if Bob Arum is involved, so don’t get your hopes up.
I wouldn’t be shocked if Pacquiao faced Miguel Cotto on November 10th
