Whether or not to get the Covid vaccine has been one of the hottest topics lately.
Both sides have made some good points, and both sides have been dumb.
Many people don’t want the vaccine but want the benefits of getting it, so they either make or buy fake vaccine cards.
I’m not sure most people know, but you can get arrested for having a fake vaccine card, and Illinois woman Chloe Mrozak found that out recently.
Ms. Mrozak was trying to visit Hawaii who has a mandatory quarantine process, but she tried to bypass it with her fake vaccine card. She might have gotten away with it if she wasn’t dumb, though.
She misspelled “Moderna” as “Maderna” and said she was vaccinated in Delaware who had no record of her being vaccinated.
She did get to enjoy her vacation but was arrested when she tried to fly back home and is held on $2000 bail and could spend 1 year in prison along with a $5000 fine.
If you’re going to make a fake card, at least be smart about it.
