Speculation about the couple’s relationship status exploded online earlier in the day after a post from the X (formerly Twitter) parody account “Hoops Crave” claimed the two had split due to infidelity. The unfounded rumor trended for hours, prompting confusion among fans.
The Grammy-winning rapper responded by posting a video of the couple enjoying a day on the golf course. In the clip, Thompson is seen patiently coaching Megan on her swing as they battle cold and windy conditions. The pair is shown laughing and joking, offering a clear visual rebuttal to the online gossip.
“My man gone to work now, yall ready for me?” Megan captioned a recent post, further signaling that the relationship remains strong.
Thompson, 35, and Megan Thee Stallion, 30, first went public with their relationship in July 2025. They recently spent Thanksgiving together, with the rapper cooking dinner for Thompson’s family—a meal the NBA star reportedly rated “10 out of 10.”
The “Hoops Crave” account, which bears a blue verification checkmark but explicitly identifies as a parody page in its bio, has a history of posting satirical sports news. Friday’s post amassed millions of views before being debunked by the couple’s social media update.
This is not the first time the couple has had to navigate public scrutiny. In November, Thompson defended Megan against “disgusting” comments made by former NBA players on a podcast, calling the remarks disrespectful and demanding they “do better.”
Thompson is currently in his second season with the Mavericks after a historic 13-year run with the Golden State Warriors. He and The Stallion just posted together on Instagram.
