Luka Doncic’s former fiancée Anamaria Goltes has filed a new claim in Slovenia seeking a $50 million settlement and reduced custody rights for the Lakers star, according to sources with direct knowledge of the matter.
Goltes is requesting $40 million for herself, with the remaining $10 million believed to be intended for the couple’s two young daughters, sources told TMZ Sports. She also wants to cut Doncic’s current custody time — at least two days per week — down to one day per week.
The move comes days after Goltes withdrew a child support petition she had filed in Los Angeles County. In that filing, she stated she preferred to resolve the dispute “amicably and by a mutual agreement” in the best interests of their children. The Slovenia action indicates any such agreement would carry a steep price tag.
Doncic and Goltes share 2-year-old Gabriela and 7-month-old Olivia. The pair were together for roughly a decade before ending their engagement earlier this year.
Doncic had previously argued that California was the wrong venue for the dispute, noting that the children primarily live in Slovenia and that he had already initiated proceedings there addressing custody and support. The withdrawal of the California case and the new Slovenian filing appear consistent with that jurisdictional argument.
The 27-year-old superstar is currently in Slovenia to be closer to his daughters. In May, he announced he would skip playing for the Slovenian national team this summer to focus on the custody matter. While there, Doncic is also expected to host the entire Lakers roster for a four-day minicamp later this month.
Neither Doncic nor Goltes has publicly commented on the latest filing.
