Sophie Cunningham has once again reminded the internet that WNBA pregame moments can be just as entertaining as the actual basketball.
Before an Indiana Fever game, Cunningham caught plenty of attention after pulling down her pants during the pregame routine and the internet reacted like someone had just discovered basketball for the first time.
Cunningham is no stranger to attention. The Fever guard has built a reputation for bringing plenty of personality to the court. She plays with energy, talks with confidence, and, judging by the internet’s reaction, she knows how to keep fans watching before the opening tip.

The pants moment was brief, the reaction was crazy!
During pregame shootaround, Cunningham spotted someone, presumably a team staff member, filming her from the bench. She initially pretended not to notice before slowly pulling down her sweatpants and briefly revealing her backside in compression shorts to the camera.
She quickly pulled her pants back up, then turned around laughing and pointing toward the camera before resuming her warmup. The video is already making the rounds on social media and has undoubtedly created one of the most random moments of the night.
Cunningham’s moment is a perfect example of modern sports culture. Fans are watching everything. Pregame, postgame, practice, interviews and social media. Even the moments that were never supposed to become a big deal can suddenly become the biggest story of the day.
And that is exactly what happened here. Sophie Cunningham wanted to get ready for basketball.
