Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is facing legal issues in court about sexually assaulting Christine Ford and now more allegations about sexual misconduct are rising. According to a story by The New Yorker, Deborah Ramirez is a woman who attended Yale with Kavanaugh and is claiming that Kavanaugh got naked at a dorm party and tried to put his penis on her and proceeded with additional sexual assault.
Ramirez did her best to push him away but his penis ended up touching her. Kavanaugh was a freshman at the time in 1983. Ramirez has not been comfortable to discuss this incident over the years but now she is ready and thinks the FBI should look into it.
Kavanaugh has denied any involvement in this incident in a statement to the New Yorker and said that people in his circle know the allegations are false as well.
“This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen,” said Kavanaugh. “The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name — and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building — against these last-minute allegations.”
Ramirez also added that Kavanaugh tried to pin her to a bed so he could rape her. Attorney Michael Avenatti posted a tweet regarding an email sent to Chief Counsel for Nominations for U.S. Senate Committee Mike Davis where Kavanaugh must be questioned about whether he targeted and raped women at the party, if he ever tried to prevent rape of women, if he was ever present where other women were raped, and more. He also added that trains were being ran when Kavanaugh was present.
