In 2010 for whatever reason it seems more common that when a female is accusing a high profile individual of some sort of sexual misconduct it comes out in a way that doesn’t include the police (excluded the Roethlisberger case).
Jacqueline Massaro says she was hired by former MLB player Lenny Dykstra to be his personal assistant in February of this year.
On the February 19th according to Massaro, Dykstra asked her to come over late night to do some work and this is where the story gets weird. I’ll let the Smoking Gun take over from here:
Massaro–who lived in San Diego–was summoned one night by Dykstra to drive three hours to his home. When “Massaro arrived around midnight, Dykstra was not home, according to her February 19 complaint, a copy of which you’ll find below. When he got there, Dykstra, 47, yelled at her to get to work. Since it was nearly 1 AM, Massaro asked, “what he could possibly want her to do.” Dykstra, who played 12 Major League seasons and won a World Series championship with the New York Mets, then told Massaro to get the “f**k out of my house, it’s not going to work out, just leave.”
Massaro contends that when she went to her room to pack for the return trip to San Diego, Dykstra came into the room and said, “So, you have nowhere to go, give me a bl*w job and you can stay the night.” Massaro claims that after she complained of being disrespected, Dykstra proceeded to put his hands on her breasts “while trying to push her onto the bed.” Massaro said that she screamed, escaped Dykstra’s clutch, and ran out of the house and drove away.”
Dykstra if you aren’t aware has had some financial issues over the last couple of years and is now seriously in debt. He is currently in bankruptcy court and this is where this accusation came out.
I know what you are thinking.
Why is it coming out in Bankruptcy court as oppose to a police report? I can not answer that question, but it appears that Miss Massaro wants to be considered one of the creditors and I suppose this is to help her case.
Dykstra has been described as a bit of a crazy especially since his company crashed and he went into debt, but once again these type of accusations should be presented to the police not to the bankruptcy court.
