The Legend of Ron Artest continues.
First there were the epic post game interviews which should be in the Hall of Fame right now.
Then I got word this morning (and confirmed by ESPN) that Artest was taunting the Celtics team bus with shouts of “Queensbridge” as it pulled away from the Staples Center last night.
If that wasn’t crazy enough, Artest then goes out later that night with his jersey still on (fingers still taped) and doesn’t get a champagne shower, he gets a Grey Goose shower (I don’t understand it, either).
This morning he is on Power 106 in LA freestyling his song “Champion,” and you want to know what the crazy part about it is?
It is great, he is definitely a better rapper than Waka Flocka Flame. Maybe Dr. Dre can sign him to Aftermath. I would purchase a Ron Artest rap CD, just to see what he was talking about.
Besides Kobe Bryant, no one will benefit more from this championship than Ron Artest; he was a star before, but more infamous than famous. Now that his star is shining bright, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Drake on the remix of “Champion.”
