I am on record as saying that I don’t think the Jets will make the playoff this year and it has nothing to do with Darrelle Revis.
It has more to do with me believing they may have read too many of their press clippings saying how great they are and Mark Sanchez might not be ready to take that next step needed to be a Super Bowl quarterback.
With that being said, how can you not love Rex Ryan.
He has become the star of Hard Knocks (unless you count Cromartie’s kids).
Just like every good coach, the players at some point will tune him out and his “act” will get old, but as of today he is a breath of fresh air in what is usually a stuffy fraternity of NFL head coaches.

Ryan’s speech about his “expectations” is classic and if you can sift through all the cursing, what he is saying doesn’t just apply to football, but also to life.
