Earlier in the day there was a report that it was Brandon Banks’ friend Christopher Nixon that was the instigator of the fight that lead to he and Redskins Kick Returner Brandon Banks being stabbed.
Brandon Banks’ Friend Christopher Nixon Instigated Stabbing Incident?
In some disturbing news ABC 7 in DC claims they have cell phone footage claiming it was Banks who threw the first punch which lead to Jason Shorter stabbing he and Nixon.
Someone is lying and if someone is covering up for Banks that is a serious issue. Here are more details:
Cell phone video of the fight that preceded the stabbing of Redskins player Brandon Banks appears to tell a different story about what happened than what has been reported so far.
ABC7 has viewed the video and it appears to show Banks starting the fight which led to the stabbing of him and his friend.
The video appears to show the 5-foot 7-inch Banks throwing the first punch.
The cell phone video captured events in front of The Park nightclub about 3 a.m. Saturday.
It shows the man on the receiving end of Banks’ fist pulling out what looks like a knife and waving it back and forth violently. In the ensuing melee you only see a number of people rush toward the man.
A lot of people were calling Banks a good friend a hero even, for jumping in and saving his friend. Even when reports that it was his friend that started the fight, most people were willing to give Banks a pass. It isn’t his fault that his friend was a hot head right?
If this Cell Phone video is legit, it proves that Banks is no different than many other athletes that unnecessarily put themselves in bad situations. This situation is even worse, because he is lucky his attacker only had a knife.
No one should be going around stabbing people, but if someone punched you in the face, it is two of them and one of you are you not able to defend yourself?
At this point I am not sure who to believe or what happened, what I do know is that Banks hands aren’t clean in this incident.
There is some dirt under his fingernails.
