Video: Lebron James & Step Daddy Delonte West Share a Hug
It is every parent’s dream to see their kids do better than them, so Delonte had to be proud to see his Step Son Lebron James finally come through in the clutch even if it was against his team.
Gloria must be so proud to see both her boys finally getting along.
On a serious note this series was more important mentally for the Heat than anything else.
They were clearly the superior team, the only edge the Celtics had over them was trying to get them to crack under pressure, but the Heat besides falling apart in Game 3, showed nerves of steel.
The reason for that is D Wade, he is fearless and Lebron and Avatar Bosh feed off that. Wade was built for the post season, he is a killer from the start of the game until the final whistle.
One thing to remember while this was a huge step for the Heat they can’t afford to take their foot off the pedal. They have to win the NBA Finals or this season will be a complete fail.
Whoever the next two teams they play won’t be push overs, so they have to keep their eyes on the prize, but they have slayed two dragons, two more to go.
