Serena Williams Says Rapper Drake is a “Close Friend”

Rumors have been that Drake was overhead smashing Serena Williams. A few pictures showed up and some flirtatious tweets lead to the speculation.
Serena addressed the rumors and didn’t do anything to debunk that there might be something going on.
Serena Williams addressed the talk of her and Drake dating, stating there’s no connection beyond friendship between them. “Oh, man. Really?” she said to the Toronto Star. “We’re really close friends. Can’t be too close to a friend nowadays, I guess.”
Normally the coded message of “close friends” means we are breaking lamps, but we aren’t a couple. There is no way to know if that is what Serena means, but I think we know who is the aggressor in the relationship.
