Romeo Crennel Named Permanent Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs stuck with what worked, as Adam Schefter reports that Kansas City will retain Romeo Crennel, who has served as the Chiefs’ head coach since Todd Haley was fired on Dec. 13.

During his short time as the interim head coach, Crennel led the team to a 2-1 record. The Chiefs stunned the Packers, who were unbeaten at the time, lost the Raiders, then ended the season with a win over the divisional rival Broncos.
