Too much, too fast.
This is the media world that we live in today. Ten years ago Jeremy Lin would be a nice story, but these days news travels faster than Usain Bolt.
Social media, blogs, smart phones, forums and 100 different other avenues, allow for a sensation like Jeremy Lin to take place.
They build you up to watch you fall and that is my concern with Jeremy Lin. ESPN had a poll asking if Jeremy Lin was best point guard ever.
When you raise the bar so high, the fall will come. The sad thing is Lin has done nothing wrong, but similar to Tim Tebow people will start to hate him simply for the attention he is getting and will be praying for his downfall.
I hope Lin keeps it up, he seems like a good kid, I just want everyone (especially Spike Lee) to just drink a capri sun, relax and like General Lin work.
