I wouldn’t say anyone can throw for 5000 yards.
I don’t think Tim Tebow ever will and it is still a big number. It is definitely easier, but don’t agree it should just be dismissed like this.

Calvin Johnson helps of course, but Matthew Stafford had an incredible season it just was overlooked, but while Megatron had a lot of yards he didn’t have them all.
Give Stafford some credit.
