Wizards Chris Singleton On Spending $10k on Mega Millions: “Either That or Blow it in the Club”

I appreciate his honesty.

While Singleton was sure he was going to win the mega millions (Wizards Forward Chris Singleton Spent $10k on Mega Millions Tickets) alas he didn’t.

He was asked if that was a wise investment on his part and this is what he had to say.

Far be it from me to tell Singleton what to spend his money on. On his rookie deal he will make a little over $3 million over the next two years.

What I do know is while $3 million is a lot of money, when you factor in taxes and a leisurely attitude toward spending it is likely that in 5-10 years Singleton will be wishing very hard he had won that Mega Millions or didn’t blow so much money making it rain in the club.
