I am not blaming Casal’s girlfriend, but…………..

It is her duty to let Nick Casal know that she has a crazy ex boyfriend, so he can take the proper precautions at all times.  I believe in love, romance and what not, but not if it means this is going to happen.

Jr welterweight Nick Casal (22-4-1, 17 KOs) was brutally attacked last night in Buffalo, New York. Casal was out with his girlfriend when from he was brutally attacked from behind by a gang wielding golf clubs. The attackers were identified as her ex-boyfriend and his friends. Medical reports are that Casal has a possible broken arm, multiple lacerations, including one at least 12 inches long.

Casal was in preparation for the biggest fight of his career on June 29th in his hometown of Niagara Falls against Ruslan Provodnikov (21-1, 14 KOs) for the WBO Inter-Continental title. The fight was to be the main event of a nationally televised card on ESPN2′s Friday Night Fights. Obviously Casal will now not be able to fight on this date.

It is a miracle he is alive when you see the injuries he sustained.

Besides being attack he also losing his big time shot on National TV, that is terrible.  He needs to reassess his choice in women.

I have to believe there is more to the story.  The EX boyfriend knew exactly where Casal was going to be.  It wasn’t a random attack he had friends with him with golf clubs.  They had intentions of killing Casal.

Who gave up the information?

Was the EX-Boyfriend stalking the EX-Girlfriend?  Did the EX-Girlfriend set up Casal?  Did the EX-Girlfriend flaunt her new relations in the EX-Boyfriend’s face inducing this attack?

So, many unanswered questions.
