Derrick Rose’s brother isn’t a doctor, he possibly stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night, so this should be encouraging news for Bulls fan.

Unless Rose can be cleared to play before the All-Star game next year, I would just shut him down for the entire season to make sure he is completely healthy, but it is still far too early to say when he will be able to come back at full strength.

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is walking without a brace and is ahead of his rehab schedule, his brother and manager Reggie Rose said on Thursday.

“He’s walking without a (brace),” Reggie said. “He’s way ahead of schedule.

“It’s just keeping him focused, and we’re not trying to rush him. Basically, just rehab, rehab, rehab. We haven’t put nothing basketball in his face.”

ughghghg, I hate hearing reports such as this. I am a die-hard Chicago fan and love D-Rose but his brother needs to have a seat. This is a set up for him coming back “to save the day”. He tore his ACL. He needs to heal properly not rush to get back on the court. As a fan of the Bulls, I’d certainly be disappointed if the team doesn’t perform well next year (which I’m predicting) but that is no reason for D-Rose to rush back “ahead of schedule”. He needs to sit out the year if necessary and be ready for what’s down the road.

Bulls Fan Rant of the morning!!
