It had been assumed that Dwight would miss some of the regular season with a back injury, but according to a report from Yahoo Sports via the NBA Mistress the chances of him playing opening night are increasing.

When video surfaced of Howard moving pretty well while working on post moves  had Lakers fans starting to get their hopes up.

You never know when Dwight is lying or not, so it is possible he was playing possum a bit and was always on track to play opening night.

The sooner he is in the lineup the better.
