The Washington Wizards were in Toronto last night to take on the Raptors in a preseason game, and had a visitor in legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi, who was sitting court side.
In customary arena fashion, the Air Canada Center was blaring Bon Jovi favorites all night, and splashing his face across the scoreboard.
While sitting on the bench, injured point guard John Wall was classy and polite clapping every time.
According to the Washington Post something funny took place at the end of the game.
Wall was asked what he thought about Bon Jovi?
The young guard replied, “Who’s that?”
Wizards players standing nearby looked stunned.
Forward Jan Vesley in shock stated to Wall, “No. You don’t know him?”
Wizards players reportedly fell out with laughter.
Wall himself took all in stride like a gentleman.
“I’m a 90s baby. I never heard of him.”
Yea I know Wall’s a young kid and it shouldn’t be a shocker that he doesn’t know who Bon Jovi is.
It’s still funny.
