Normally, I wouldn’t condone this type of language from anyone, but I am going to give an exception to Clippers Matt Barnes.
If you recall he was arrested this summer by a cop who purposefully waited for him outside of a restaurant for hours. During the arrest the Barnes called the cop a faggot and a pussy.
But there is a reason why Barnes reacted the way he did. This same cop had already stop Barnes twice on traffic offenses in the past and seemed to be stalking him.
No one likes being harassed and while Barnes should have gotten his suspended license taken care of, it appears this cop just likes to give him a hard time.
I am sure there is something else the cop could have been doing besides waiting outside of a restaurant for two hours to arrest someone for a traffic warrant.
For his part Barnes tell TMZ he wasn’t trying to offend anyone, he was just got caught up in the heat of the moment and justifiably so.
“I would like to apologize for the unfortunate language I used. I know that certain words are extremely hurtful.”
Barnes goes on: “I meant absolutely no disrespect to anyone. This comment, spoken in the heat of a difficult moment, does not accurately reflect my actual point of view.”
