The most important thing to come out of this is 50 Cent’s explanation on why Floyd Mayweather isn’t involved with the company. With the Nevada Boxing Commission you can’t play around, you have to be on the up and up or they will deny your license.

According to ESPN 50 Cent told the commission that he and Mayweather had a verbal agreement to start a promotional company before Floyd went to jail, but nothing contractually was signed.

After Floyd got out of jail he had a change of heart, but 50 Cent had already invested $1.5 million in acquiring fighter’s contracts and wanted to proceed without Floyd..

With all that being said 50 is now approved to do business in Nevada and will be involved in his first promotion when his fighter Yuriorkis Gamboa fights on the undercard of Marquez vs. Pacquiao 4.
