Devin Hester Considering Retirement After Finding Out Lovie Smith Was Fired

If you own the team you can fire and hire whoever you like.
Lovie Smith has had a lot of ups and downs with the Bears in his 9 seasons there, they wanted to move in a different direction and that is fine.
But, it is obvious they didn’t take the pulse of the team, because they seem devastated by the news. Considering, the mercurial players they have on the roster, if they do not win immediately under the new coach I can see a lot of the players checking out mentally.
It might already be happening.
