Here is what Larry Fitzgerald Sr. had to say about the Arizona Cardinals.
“Definition of team quitting? 9 losses n a row. 9th loss 58-0! Injuries handling of offense worst NFL. Adrian Wilson & Darnell Dockett situations!”
“Larry was n this situation last was in high school. Got beat 75-6 Dela Salle over Minnehaha. We talked about that today. I pulled him out,” he wrote. “I Transferred him to Holy Angels. This is the NFL. Humbling embarrassing frustrating angering disappointing painful. What happens when u quit!”
Nothing that Larry Fitzgerald’s dad is saying is incorrect, unfortunately you can’t transfer to another NFL team because you play on a bad one.
I like Larry Fitzgerald, I think he is a professional and an outstanding wide receiver, one of the best in the league, but I feel no sympathy for him.
He had a chance to become an unrestricted free agent (clause in his contract said he couldn’t be franchised) and he decided to stay in Arizona and became one of the highest paid players in the league. The 8 year $120 million contract with $50 million guarantee was a monster deal.
He will just have to deal with the losing and the 58-0 blowouts until the Cardinals upgrade their quarterback position.
