Memo to T.O.

You didn’t need to send out a statement, we knew Blake Griffin was joking, settle down.

But here is the statement from his publicist.

Blake and Terrell are friends. The quote pulled from “The Dan Patrick Show” was taken completely out of context and subsequently made a great headline but is untrue. Terrell never begged to become a Clipper. He is a huge fan of the Clippers and of Blake’s. And as everyone knows, he can play a serious game of ball. When Blake was asked if there were any football players that he thought could play in the NBA, he named Terrell Owens and Calvin Johnson. It is not surprising that Terrell was at their practice facility this summer. One of his best friend’s, Jason Powell, is the head trainer for the Clippers.
