Kentucky resident Zachary Gross was in court on Wednesday to receive his sentence for scalping his ex-girlfriend Marilyn Stanley and having his pit bull attack her. Yes, you read that correctly. Fox 19 reported that when it was Gross’ turn to address the court, he said the following:
“I’m not asking for your mercy. Just give me the 20. I don’t need a lecture.”
Guess Gross was in a hurry. Might have been better if he hit the judge with Stringer’s classic line in season 3 of the Wire. “Well get on with it then, motherf*****!”
For his trouble Gross received a 21 year sentence. The incident allegedly stemmed from a FB post from Stanley that Gross didn’t like. When Gross became combative, Stanley refused to drop a knife she was holding in self-defense, and his pit bull ripped off part of her ear and scalp. Gross drove Stanley to her mother’s house following the incident with her scalp in a plastic bag.
