On Monday, Bridget Moynahan posted a mysterious statement on Instagram following her breakup with Tom Brady‘s roasting in a recent Netflix comedy special.
Sunday night’s episode of “Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady” featured criticism of the NFL player for splitting up with the model in 2006 while she was expecting their son, Jack.
A quote appeared on Moynahan’s stream, and the actress captioned it with the words “So true”:
“Loyal people take s–t more personal because they never would’ve did that s–t to you,”
Less than two days after comedian Nikki Glaser made fun of Moynahan, 53, and the 46-year-old athlete for their infamous breakup, Moynahan posted the comment. Glaser had said,
“Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long, you retired then came back then retired, I get it. It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend,” “To be fair, he didn’t know. He just thought she was getting fat.”
Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan torrid love affair
The Super Bowl champion and the “Blue Bloods” actress met in February 2004 and officially split up in December 2006.
Moynahan’s representative disclosed that she was three months pregnant with Brady’s child just two months later. But at the time, Brady had already moved on and was seeing Gisele Bündchen.
Following his marriage to Bündchen in February 2009, the three have continued to co-parent Jack as well as Brady and Bündchen’s two children, Vivian, 11, and Benjamin, 14.
Concurrently, in 2015, Moynahan married businessman Andrew Frankel.
In August of 2007, Moynahan and Brady welcomed their now sixteen-year-old only child together.
