Former Dolphins QB Pat White Trying To Make A NFL Comeback

Before there was a Colin Kaepernick, RG3, and Russell Wilson running spread, innovative offenses, there was Pat White at West Virginia.

White who was a former 2nd round pick of the Dolphins and essentially a bust soon after that.  White left the NFL in 2009 to pursue a career in baseball with the Royals before trying his hand at acting.

Yahoo Sport is now reporting that White is set to make a comeback and is working with renown quarterback guru George Whitfield.

Whitfield is responsible for working with the likes of Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, and Johnny Manziel to name a few.

White will make his return and share the stage with Geno Smith at West Virginia’s Pro Day.

He’ll get a look because he’s working with Whitfield, but he’ll need the right system and coach to succeed. ¬†White is coming back at the right time, seeing as though the spread and pistol is all the roar.
