Muhammad Ali is about as legendary as an athlete can hope to be. Sadly, it appears his time with us could be coming to an end.

His brother Rahman Ali let it be known recently that his brother no longer recognized him and cannot speak. Alluding to the fact that he could end up passing away very soon. The Daily Mail captured these quotes from Rahman regarding the declining condition of his brother.

He’s in a bad way. He’s very sick,” said Rahman

“It could be months, it could be days. I don’t know if he’ll last the summer. He’s in God’s hands.”

If you remember, Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease back in 1984, but was able to remain active and attempted to stay healthy for a long period of time. Recently however, Ali has deteriorated. Being seen looking extremely frail and thin at the London 2012 Olympics.

Rahman also let it be known that Ali’s wife has refused the family the ability to go see the ailing Champ.
