Report: 49ers and Chiefs Agree on Trade for Alex Smith

Jay Glazer isn’t one to just throw out things like this unless he legitimately knows it to be true. So, expect Alex Smith to be your opening day starter for the Chiefs.
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can’t be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I’m told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

The #49ers are expected to receive a 2nd round pick this season for Alex Smith and another 2nd or 3rd round pick in the 2014 draft.
