The offseason is here, and the struggle for college athletes to stay out of trouble is upon us. My San Antonio is reporting that Texas A&M junior defensive tackle Kirby Ennis was arrested and subsequently suspended from the team for discharging a gun.
Texas A&M starting defensive lineman Kirby Ennis was arrested on Friday night on charges of discharging/displaying a firearm and disorderly conduct, according to the Brazos County justice website.
Ennis was arrested at his apartment off of College Station’s Holleman Drive just before midnight, and was released about an hour later, according to police. He posted $2,000 bond. An A&M official said Saturday afternoon he wasn’t aware of the arrest and would check into the details.
Smarten up Nas.
