I feel like history is repeating itself.
I used to hear these conversations and comparisons about Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant all the time. There was never any reason to have the conversation until Kobe had 7-8 rings, then at least you could have a discussion.
Same goes for LeBron James. LeBron is as talented as any player the NBA has ever seen, but can we at least wait until his career is close to over before we start saying things like he is greater than Jordan?
I understand you are bored and have nothing else to do, but there is nothing to talk about at this moment. With that being said Tracy McGrady gave his thoughts on the debate.
“It’s different then it was,” McGrady told USA TODAY Sports’ Alex Kennedy. “Then, when I came in ’97, you had men in the league. There’s a lot of boys in this league now. And that’s what I’ve been trying to tell guys when they’ve been asking me questions about LeBron and Jordan. I’m like, ‘Come on man, y’all can’t be serious.’ This man MJ was playing against grown men out there. There’s a lot of boys in the league right now. That seems to be the difference.”
I don’t agree with that, but I don’t agree with debating the question at all.
Let LeBron have his time and when it is up, then we can discuss.
