Derek Jeter Gets Injured Again, This Time it’s a Calf Strain
I’m pretty sure the New York Yankees are just counting down the days to the conclusion of this season at this point, because it has been nightmarish.
According to Yahoo! Sports, Yankees captain Derek Jeter, has picked up a calf injury and the team doesn’t know when he’s going to return.
”It’s frustrating,” Jeter said after the Yankees lost 6-3 to San Diego. ”It’s terrible. The whole season has been a nightmare.”
The 38-year-old Jeter did not play the last two days against the Padres.
”I’m not so sure what we’re going to do,” Yankees manager Joe Girardi said.
It’s hard to pity the Yankees, but no team deserves this kind of buzzards luck.
