After Miami’s sanctions were handed down earlier today with 9 scholarships lost over three years and no bowl ban, anyone associated with USC football was left a little confused. Athletic Director Pat Haden has already come out and said USCs sanctions needed to be adjusted after Penn State’s were and now he is not happy with Miami:
USC AD Pat Haden on NCAA's Miami decision: "We have always felt that our penalties were too harsh. This decision only bolsters that view."

At this point Haden is just angry to be angry. The NCAA has said they won’t do any adjusting to USC’s sanctions which is I think is the wrong move but the NCAA doesn’t operate on common sense most times. I get the feeling that for the next 20 years USC fans and administration will be upset anytime a ruling like this comes out.
