NFL scouts can put a check next to the toughness box when it comes to Marcus Mariota and whether he should be the No. 1 overall pick in next May’s NFL draft.
The Oregonian is reporting that Mariota played and balled out against Stanford with an already partially sprained MCL.
Mariota wore a brace during Thursday nights loss, and spent most of the night not looking like his normal self.
The Heisman front runner was sacked, fumbled and had to be helped off the field with what appeared to be an injury to that left knee in the third quarter.
