It is amazing how a two game winning streak can make a team feel like world beaters. After beating the Nets and Magic (not exactly like beating the Heat and Spurs), the Knicks are putting teams on notice.
Amar’e Stoudemire said after the win in Brooklyn on Thursday that the Knicks’ swagger and “mojo” was back.
“At some point it was going to get unleashed,” point guard Raymond Felton said when asked if the Nets unleashed something in the Knicks. “Brooklyn is just a team that got the first wrath of it. Everybody else is going to have to feel it later on, too.”
We will see if the Knicks unleash whatever wrath Felton is talking about on the rest of the NBA.
