This won’t help his case.

Here is the breakdown courtesy of TMZ.

Sources tell us the former New England Patriots tight end — who is usually segregated from the general population — was allowed to take a walk in an isolated hallway … but somehow came into contact with another inmate.

We’re told Hernandez recognized the other inmate and launched into an attack — beating the other man up pretty badly.

Sources tell us … Hernandez and the other man had been beefing all day long. One source says the other guy had been harassing Aaron nonstop. Clearly, Hernandez was pissed.

Hernandez has been locked up in solitary confinement for the majority of his time in prison, just to avoid these type of confrontations.  If the story is true, his leisurely walk privileges might be taken away.

The Sheriff has confirmed that Hernandez was in an altercation.  Here is what the jail had to say.

Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson says the former New England Patriots tight end had an altercation with another inmate at the Bristol County House of Corrections on Tuesday.

Hodgson says jail staff are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance video to figure out exactly what happened and determine whether charges are warranted.

  1. Seems to me the beat up inmate must have pissed off the guards, so they let Aaron do what needed to be done. This kind of thing happens all the time. No biggie its how prisons function.
