Wonder what was the reason behind the change? I thought the CBS Pregame show was solid, nothing great, but it wasn’t terrible.
It was tolerable, not as fun as the NFL Network or FOX, but not as bad as ESPN Countdown. For whatever reason they decided to shake things up.
What do you think about the new lineup?
CBS announces that Dan Marino and Shannon Sharpe will no longer be part of its studio show. Tony Gonzalez hired to replace them.

To be clear, this was a CBS decision to drop Marino and Sharpe. Marino did not want to leave an attractive job.

Shannon Sharpe for his part has no hard feelings.
“Things happen,” Sharpe says … “They made the best decision for them and now I have to make the best decision for me.”
Sharpe is adamant he has “no hard feelings” toward CBS — adding, “They’ve been great to me.”
