Bill Self has a knack for snatching up big time players in late spring. Around this time last year, Andrew Wiggins committed to Kansas. The Jayhawks currently have the 4th ranked class of 2014, with Cliff Alexander and Kelly Oubre headlining the class as McDonald’s All-Americans.
Self wasn’t done adding to this class apparently.
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk has decided to attend Kansas, according to his club in the Ukraine. Mykhailius is only 16 and will be at KU two years.

Mykhailiuk will have to stay at Kansas for at least two years before leaping to the NBA because he won’t turn 19 until 2016. He’ll be eligible to play this fall in Lawrence and he’s drawing comparisons to Nik Stauskas.
Another NBA guy compared new Kansas commit Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk to Nik Stauskas.
