Here in America, few casual soccer fans can see through Tim Howard’s all-encompassing cloud that currently engulfs the nation. But Costa Rican tender, Keylor Navas is quietly anchoring a surprising run for his team; who has beaten out some of the world’s best (England, Italy, and Uruguay), to play in the World Cup quarterfinals against The Netherlands on Saturday afternoon (4 PM est, ESPN).
Check out a part of Nevas’ training regimen:
The tennis player hitting balls at Navas is Pablo Andujar, who is ranked 33rd in the world currently. I’m not the biggest soccer buff (yet), however, I am impressed at this training routine. The most important thing about it: it’s clearly paying it’s dividends.
Can’t argue with results.
