How much is too much for a pair of Air Jordans?
I guess 50K isn’t the answer to that question. A prized limited edition Air Jordan 11 Low ‘Championship Rings’pack has hit eBay and I will admit the pack is fresh, but it isn’t worth dropping what would be the equivalent of a 3 bedroom house in the D.
This Air Jordan Low pack is going for a cool $50,000. SoleCollector has the details of the sale for all of our sneakerheads that are sitting on an extra $50,000:
To date, we’ve only known of two owners: Michael Jordan himself and actor Chi McBride. Surprisingly, a set has popped up on eBay, complete with a custom display case, wooden shoe trees, promo boxes personalized by Tinker Hatfield and a collection of six replica Chicago Bulls championship rings. Both shoes, which feature golden championship ring tags on the tongues, are sized in Jordan’s famous 13.5.
The price? $50,000 $49,999.99. But you’ll be relieved to know that the shipping is free. Spend this year’s salary at ebay now.
This pack is a part of history, but a part that I would go without. In your opinion, are any sneakers worth this price tag?
