I find the defendants “NOT GUILTY” by reason of being geniuses.
Last week, a pair of thieves unhatched an inventive plan to steal merchandise from a Florida Walmart: One faked a heart attack while the other carted the goods out the door.
Initially, the hoax appeared to be a success. Tarus Scott and Genard Dupree left the store with $369.94 worth of toys, including a motorized Barbie Power Wheel.
However, after being identified on the store’s surveillance footage, the men were arrested yesterday and charged with grand theft.
