Robert Littal:
There are two ways I make predictions. One where I don’t really have a feeling either way and just base things off stone cold facts. The second way is when I get a vibe, the vibe can come at any time and it isn’t logically, but it is rarely wrong. My vibes have been undefeated this postseason. I got one earlier in the week and it said Patriots would win, so I am going to roll with it.
Patriots 24 – Seahawks 13
Luck:
Russell Wilson has a big game. Sherman with 2 INTS, Marshawn with 2 TDS.
Seahawks 35 – Patriots 24
Mark Gunnels:
Marshawn Lynch will get his, but I believe Belichick will come up with a gameplan that won’t allow him to go crazy, which will force Wilson to win with his arm against a stout corner duo in Revis and Browner. Also, I think Gronk will be too much to handle.
Patriots 27 – Seahawks 20
Vashti:
The old adage that defense wins championships still rings true.
Seahawks 24 – Patriots 20
Daniel Seahorn:
I said last year after Seattle won it all that there was no reason that they couldn’t make it back to the Super Bowl again with all the talent they had on the roster. Well here they are again with a chance to repeat as champions. After watching them fight back against Green Bay and win in OT, I feel like they are a team of destiny. I think it will be a close game, but I have the Seahawks repeating as Super Bowl champs and Tom Brady coming up short again in his 6th Super Bowl.
Seahawks 28 – Patriots 24
Donald Battle:
I have a gut feeling that this will be one of the more interesting and most competitive Super Bowl games of the last few years. The Seattle Seahawks are coming in with a defense that can completely take over a game if the opposing team makes any mistakes. Russell Wilson protects the ball and Marshawn Lynch can take over a game at anytime. The New England Patriots are very much battle tested, Tom Brady has been to the SB 5 other times and will have his team ready.
Seattle secondary is pretty beat up but I believe in their team as a unit so I pick Seattle to win a close game.
Seahawks 23 – Patriots 17
Kel Dansby:
The Patriots D will be able to keep the Seahawks down for awhile but turnovers by Brady & the O will lead to short fields for Seattle. Seahawks D will keep the Pats from throwing quick underneath routes & their lack of a deep threat will make it tough for them to score.
Seahawks 23 – Patriots 17
Samuel Logan:
I predict the Seattle Seahawks will win the Super Bowl. The Seahawks will win because they have a superior defense and Russell Wilson will find anyway to win. Marshawn Lynch will have 2 TDs and over 100 yards.
Seahawks 21 – Patriots 20
Josh Dhani
Defense wins championships. Also, the NFC has won the majority of the time when the No. 1 seeds face each other in the Super Bowl, and the margins aren’t close either. Many have this at a close game, but I think the Seahawks defense will be too much for the Pats’ short passing attack. Only way they can get it done is if Blount is rolling. I think the game will be close at first, but Seattle slowly runs away with it.
Seahawks 27 – Patriots 17
Belal:
Legion of Boom cements themselves as the greatest secondary of all-time, taking Manning and Brady out in consecutive Super Bowls.
Seahawks 34 – Patriots 21
Rian Mabry:
Seattle will need to control time of possession. Lynch and Wilson ability to extend the play and pick up critical 1st downs will be big. Seattle Defense getting off the field on 3rd downs and containing Gronk from picking up 1st downs. Russell Wilson will be the NFL Super Bowl MVP.
Seahawks 34 – Patriots 28
Glenn Erby:
Defense usually trumps offense in big games, and while the addition of LeGarrette Blount could hurt the middle of the Seahawks defense, it won’t be enough.
Seahawks 24 – Patriots 21
Josh Anthony:
New England keeps Russell Wilson in the pocket and forces long third downs. Seattle can’t contain Gronk. Bold prediction brady gets a rushing td.
Patriots 31 – Seahawks 27
Zack Williford:
The Pats are scorching hot coming into the game and although Seattle may be the more popular pick, the defensive injuries could be too much to overcome.
Patriots 31 – Seahawks 28
Deron Davis:
Marshawn Lynch and the ground game will be the key to the game, and the “Legion of Boom” will keep New England’s receivers at bay. If the Patriots still had Hernandez it’d be a closer ball game similar to the ’12 matchup.
Seahawks 35 – Patriots 17
Tamantha Gunn:
I don’t think the defense is capable of stopping Marshawn Lynch.
Seahawks 24 – Patriots 17
Ashley:
Seahawks defense the savior of the day, Sherman shows up bigger than Revis in the secondary. Tom Brady never develops a rhythm due to constant pressure.
Seahawks 27 – Patriots 21
Natasha Paul:
The Seahawks will win. This game will be all defense and the Seahawks defense will outshine the Pats defense.
Seahawks 28 – Patriots 13
Candido:
The Super Bowl is going to start out with both teams running into defensive brick walls for half of the first quarter until they get into game flow. At that point they’ll both run the ball and trade some TDs. Brady wins MVP with Blount close behind in the running.
Patriots 30 – Seahawks 17
Final tally 14 for Seahawks & 5 Patriots
