The Cavs are headed into round 2 of the playoffs extremely short-handed. Kevin Love suffered a shoulder injury and will be out for the Eastern Conference Semis which will be versus the Bucks or the Bulls and J.R. Smith will be out for the first two games due to suspension.
Smith received a two game suspension headed down by the NBA after a flagrant 2 foul on Jae Crowder of the Celtics. Smith used his Instagram account to apologize to the Cavs’ fans.

I personally think leaving New York was one of the best things that could have happened for Smith. He has seemed to grow up and to carry himself in a more mature manner but his back hand slap on Crowder was really out-of-order.
