Dwight Howard for the next few years at least is going to be good for around 17 points and 14 rebounds. When he is focused he is going to a premium rim defender and frankly he was the most consistent Rockets player during the playoffs.
But, he is just the B-side, which is fine, you can’t expect him to lead you to a title, which is why the burden of the Rockets loss will go on James Harden, who is the A-side.
I get what he is trying to say, but his bank account might be a champion and hopefully he is happy with his personal life, but when it comes to basketball he is just a very good player, not a champion at all.
Howard: "No matter how the season ends, I'm a champion. And I won't let anyone tell me anything different."
